Non Solo Verdura: A Night of Vegan Delights
Join us on Tuesday, July 11th from 7-9pm, at Pasta Dal Cuore, for a very special five-course vegan dinner with complimentary natural wine pairings curated by sommelier Chris Leo of PS Wine Bar (Pet Shop).
No butter, no meat, no cheese… What kind of Italian dinner is this?! Well, it’s more than just vegetables! Believe it or not, in classical Italian cooking there are many dishes that are naturally animal-free, but somehow many of us got sidetracked into thinking it’s all Parmigiano, mozzarella and Milanese cutlets. Whether or not you are vegan, this night is designed to open your mind (and seduce your tastebuds) to a different palette of complex, natural Italian flavors and dairy-free fresh pastas.
During this special evening of vegan delights, we will talk about each course of food, and where the traditions originate. Also discussed, will be the natural wine-making process, and it’s very little modern interventions. Natural wines are made with no irrigation, they are manually harvested, contains no herbicides, no pesticides, and little or no sulfur.
